This Indigequeer, fat foodie lives out fae teenage drama dreams bringing you wildly unreasonable, illogical, and inappropriate characters.
Known as the Weird Al of Albuquerque burlesque, Juni has dabbled in many sub-genres including: foodlesque, draglesque, nerdlesque, neo-burlesque, classic burlesque, improv burlesque, queerlesque, long form burlesque, cheesecake burlesque, neo-classic burlesque, pollical burlesque, weirdlesque, Indigelesque and kinklesque.
Faer style is often crafty, camp and inspired by drag, pop culture, politics, food, and historical ecadysia. They are also a high femme drag performer, emcee, singer, educator and “sibling” to drag king/thing Edam Ami.
Juni comes from the fabulous drag House of Faraday. Fae is the daughter of local drag legend Felica Rockstar Faraday and burlesque icons Doctor Lucky & Mayo Lua de Frenchie. Fae is also the “big sister” of local drag king and drunkle Edam Ami and has been known to showcase faer vocals and is stepping into the worlds of emceeing and teaching burlesque. Fae has also been a professional elf for Santa since the age of 9.

After a decade in the audience and with no previous experience acting, dancing, or stripping, fae took burlesque classes from The Unicorn School of Burlesque & Magic in 2017. Thus, creating “The Trumpening,” an act of BDSM love featuring President Trump & Sean Spicer, with their burly-sister Violette Delights for their Unicorn University student showcase debut.
With faer “Not so Virgin Mary” act, faer first solo act, Juni won the unofficial WTF award at the inaugural Buxom Blaze Burlesque Festival in 2018. She is now best known for “Clawdette the Autophagic Crab,” and many, many acts with Large Marge, their 2-foot tall buttery sidekick.
Juni has also dabbled in producing local shows and is the founder of The Freudian Slips Experience. In 2019 fae produced The Dirty Delicatessens Titsgiving, a foodlesque show and improv burlesque competition benefiting Roadrunner Foodbank. In 2021 she put on The Rt 66 Risque Appeteazer Show, the first burlesque show at Hollow Spirits showcasing: magic, neo-burlesque, draglesque and foodlesque by local talents. Now with the The Freudian Slips she brings highly curated, custom burlesque and variety experiences to the greater Albuquerque area.
